Watertown tech startup Stylefeeder acquired by Top Ten Sources

By H2otown - Posted on 28 June 2006

Entrepreneur and local blogger Philip Jacob's startup, Stylefeeder was acquired by Cambridge tech co Top Ten Sources.

Stylefeeder is Santa's List 2.0 -- it lets you keep track of things you want to buy for yourself or others, and also see what the cool kids are putting on their lists. Top Ten Sources gives you a concise rundown of the best blogs on a given subject and is run by blogger extroardinare Halley Suitt. TTS has links to local investment/tech companies NewsILike and RSS Labs, whose activities are getting many to start calling Boston "RSS Alley," for the increasing number of startups working on products based on Really Simple Syndication (RSS) technology, which, for one, makes podcasting possible.

Did H2otown lose you there? Here's the NYTimes on RSS. More on the acquisition from 93South, the TechCrunch of the Hub.
